MEET LANCE JONES
My name is Lance Jones, and I'm a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Georgia and Kansas with more than 20 years of accounting and financial leadership experience. Throughout my career, I've served in a variety of accounting and finance roles, most recently as the Controller for a healthcare company, where I oversaw financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, internal controls, and strategic financial planning. I earned both my Master of Science in Accounting and Financial Management and my Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business Administration from the University of Maryland. Today, I bring that experience to every client I serve through PalmStar CPA, providing personalized accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and advisory services built on trust, responsiveness, and long-term relationships.

PalmStar CPA was founded with a simple mission: to provide trusted accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and advisory services while serving the unique needs of military families and small businesses.
The military has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My father and grandfather both served in the United States Army, and today I'm proud to continue that connection as the spouse of an active-duty Army service member.
Although Florida will always be home, our family is currently stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas. Living the military lifestyle has given me firsthand insight into the challenges military families face—from PCS moves and multi-state tax considerations to balancing careers and small business ownership.
